For a unique project from a client out of France, we did some interesting work up in the Napa Valley of California. Some of the footage would be utilized in a vertical orientation and the producer wanted two angles simultaneously but for the purpose of the video we couldn’t use a side angle. So we decided to shoot with 2 Sony a7S3 cameras and prepare a special little rig for them. It worked quite well and will no doubt get used again at some point. We also shot drone footage and a lot of standard landscape orientation b-roll. It will be incorporated into a one-of-a-kind art display to help people understand unique vineyard environments all over the world. Special thanks to Napa Valley Vintners and Foley Family Wines for giving us a bucolic winery to shoot at.
