Orkeeswa School

In the mid 2000’s Fresno State alumni Peter Luis was hard at work establishing a groundbreaking learning opportunity for high school-aged students in Monduli, Tanzania in Africa. In the first week of November, Justin McAleece was fortunate enough to travel there to finally experience what the Orkeeswa school had become. He was blown away to say the least. He was able to attend a major track and field meet (which the school won the Overall Prize for) and spend some time documenting the story of a leading student. It was enlightening and heartening.
