Kaplan College Commercial
This spot began with a rather complicated shot list and expectation of what we wanted to shoot. As we thought about it more and more Byron and I decided that simplifying the visual motif to a single, unified theme of similar closeups with simple backgrounds would help the viewer connect with the people and not have to worry about cutting overload and environment interpretation. It may look simple but it definitely took us the entire day and we were very happy with how it turned out. Ian McAleece did the majority of the lighting and Justin McAleece operated our RED One Camera.
