Medical Video Production
Blare Media worked with illustrator Doug Morris and in-house editor Jason Wada to produce this info-rich video on how and why an emergency room can become overcrowded and what can be done about it.
The primary challenge of this video production was showing ER patient images while observing patient privacy rules. Using photography would have required releases from those individuals shown in the video.
Our solution was for the illustrator to spend a few days making sketches of the patients and medical personnel in the ER then bringing the artwork to life via Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.
The result is a compelling, watchable video that explains the ER situation seamlessly. Adaptation to Spanish was a relatively simple matter since we mainly needed to convert the words on screen to Spanish.
