Just finished an incredible whirlwind of a shoot for a feature film in Holland. It’s called “An American in Amsterdam” and it’s written and directed by Marcia Kimpton. Over the course of 9.5 days, Justin McAleece and Ian McAleece were the cinematographers for the feature film which will come out sometime in 2021. We shot the movie with a variety of cameras for creative reasons including the RED Epic Dragon, Blackmagic URSA Pro, and Sony FS5Mk2. It was an intense shoot but the project promises to be a hilarious take on the life of a Reality TV star who has her whole career upended when her best friend has to fill in as the show’s director and adventure ensues.
