The team at Blare loves making a difference with our work – and helping to highlight organizations like Affirmed Housing, that are trying combat our lack of affordable housing with new community developments, is a challenge we gladly accept.
Sr. Producer Joel Janecek and Director of Photography Mauricio Tapia lead a team that included camera operator Cedric Letsch and do-it-all Utility Matt Jeff, as we attended the grand opening of an innovative new development called “Vitalia” in San Jose…on one of San Jose’s most rainy days of the year much less. But the rain only added to an atmosphere of renewal and excitement around the new units and community spaces that will do so much good for families and individuals who might be on the street without this kind of subsidized housing.
Matt edited the piece for us and it was a slam dunk on first draft, so thanks to the team at Affirmed Housing and be on the lookout for more great developments form them as they bring the dignity of a great new home to so many who need it.
